Thanks for your comments Paul - Yes I LOVE my backyard - one of my favorite places to work. Thanks for the tip on the Gorilla Tripod. I actually got one and it's great! Most of the time I am shooting with the Flip camera that is what I use. Never thought to pick it up while attached and use it that way - good idea!

Nice backyard and patio Phil!.. re your comments about shaky camera work.. you could get one of those little gorrilla.pod tripods so you can set the camera down on a desk or shelf when talking into it, then grab the camera with tripod still attached to do the pan around the room. those little tripods are small enough an weight very little that it should work great for both scenarios!

I feel your pain Tony! You are not alone in longing for more work flexibility. Being you work in a factory is it the type of work you do that prevents you from being able to work outside or management/policy?

Despite some jobs appearing as though they can't be done remotely often you can lump tasks that can be location independent together and work at least part of your day or week from a different location. Of course this depends on your job and company.

I'm sending positive Anywhere Office vibes in your direction!

Still trapped in cube world, in the bowels of a factory. In before sunrise, out after sunset. My best view is of the back of a rusty storage cabinet. Somedays I imagine I can actually see the rust spread. I can only dream of the freedom of working virtually, ... for now!
