		<description>Tom,

So glad you are enjoying the show. As brothers we have worked, laughed, and played for over 36 years together so the chemistry definitely flows!

As for your recommendation, you are correct logmein.com does offer some very good services. As you pointed out if your primarily want remote access (and don&#039;t need file transfer between PCs) their free version is an excellent option. And they do have other paid options as well.

Great tip - thanks for sharing that!

Keep on tuning in and the feedback coming.

		<description>Bryan,

Thanks for the great feedback. You are absolutely right about the podcast having too many commercials. For the first episode we just posted the whole show to kick things off. After further thought we are taking your advice and will be creating a shorter podcast format that will include segments from the show and also allow us the flexibility to post a true mixed bag of things including some lessons from our audio eclasses, video posts, some screencasts, and other goodies.

As for the audio posts as comments that&#039;s something we might consider later.

Thanks for the great feedback!

<description>Hey guys, I just stumbled across the show by searching for remote access on Technorati. I really like it; you guys obviously have great chemistry with one another.

On the topic of remote access and working here but living there, I think you might want to look into the products made by logmein.com. They have a free version that&#039;s a bit stripped down compared to the pay versions (but still very good in and of itself) and they have several pay versions each for very specific business sectors (IT, tech support, etc). I&#039;ve been using their products for my business for a while and can&#039;t reccomend them highly enough.

Keep up the great podcasting guys!</description>

		<description>One other note:

Podpress version 6.6, which you&#039;re running for this website, allows you to enable audio commenting as well.

As guys who are doing a radio show/podcast, wouldn&#039;t it be great if you could also encourage listeners to post their audio feedback and questions directly to the podcast blog?

Take a look at a post on my blog to see it in action: http://www.bryper.com/2006/07/13/a-dream-plugin-enhancement/

And drop me a line if you have a question about how to get it going from within the WordPress blog.

		<description>Phil and Jason:

Took a listen to your show as a podcast on Monday! I&#039;m looking to future episodes, as I try and carve out some consulting work for myself in new media.

Also, as a radio show, the commercials are fine. But as a podcast, they&#039;re too much (at least 15 minutes in the first episode, I&#039;d guess?). That really goes against the spirit of podcasts, which even when they have ads, tend to be short and sparse. In short, when we listen to podcasts, we don&#039;t want commercial radio! It&#039;s meant to be something different.

Now, how can you appease the advertisers, whom you may have told would also have their spots appearing in the podcast? Consider having a very brief ad at the beginning, and another one at the end. Explain that this is nature of the medium, and that listeners of podcasts with long commercials are unlikely to keep listening.

My two cents!
